Rome Terminal Station - Roma Termini Station
The Rome train station was named after the ancient Baths of Diocletian, which can be found across the street from the main entrance of the station. When the Roma Termini station was built in 1931 and completed in 1950, it was a great success both in capability and design. After the completion of the station many stations strived to live up to the standards set forth by the Termini station. It was an inspiration to many architects attempting their own masterpieces. More importantly, it is a great station to spend some time in while waiting for your inspiring train journey.
